Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and that means it’s time for one of our favorite events of the year here at Montgomery Bakehouse: our Mother’s Day cake decorating event! This year we’re holding our decorating day in the Party Room on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and you definitely don’t want to miss it.
Fun for the Whole Family
Do you have a young baker or chef in your family, or perhaps an artist in training? Our cake decorating day is the perfect family activity to get your kids inspired to give mom a handmade treat for Mother’s Day. Have Dad bring the kids by the bakery to decorate a fresh-baked cake for Mom for a delicious surprise. They can let their imaginations run wild as they decorate a dessert for Mom. Keep it a secret and present it to her for brunch on Sunday, or dig in together when you get home if you can’t wait to show her!
Mom, this is also a great activity to enjoy with your children. They’re sure to remember the fun you have working together, and you can present your sweet masterpiece to Grandma on Mother’s Day. Or you can bring Grandma along for a special outing with your kids while you enjoy some quiet time to yourself. There’s no wrong way to do cake decorating day!
What’s Included
For $13, we include a 7-inch single layer cake — you choose whether you prefer chocolate or vanilla. We also provide a spread of icing, a variety of fun sprinkles and decorations, and a special Mother’s Day plaque to decorate with, so you can customize your cake any way you like. The Party Room is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and you don’t need a reservation. Just show up with your imagination and your sweet tooth, and we’ll make sure you have a fun day and a great dessert to take home for Mother’s Day.
