Now that Christmas is over and the decorations have all been packed away for next year, it’s easy to fall into a wintertime slump. With precious few daylight hours and unpredictable weather that could send you diving for cover at any second, January and February can seem like pretty big bummers after all the holiday festivities.

It doesn’t have to be that way! This month plays host to some of our favorite wintertime events — and we’ve got the goodies you need to celebrate them in style!

Three Kings’ Day

Epiphany, or Three Kings’ Day, is traditionally celebrated on January 6. We’ve got our famous King Cake all ready to go for the celebration, and we make sure to keep this local favorite available from now through Mardi Gras on February 13. Whether you’re celebrating the Twelfth Day of Christmas, the last day of fun before you give up something for Lent, or you just want to inject some color into a gray winter day, King Cake is just the bright spot you need this time of year. Like winter — believe it or not! — they don’t last forever, so come and get one before they’re gone.

Super Bowl Sunday

The Super Bowl is an unofficial American holiday, and it’s the perfect excuse to get together with friends for warm food, sweet treats and a whole lot of cheering. No matter who you’re rooting for, we can help make your party a success with football-themed treats for the whole family. Choose a chocolate football cake or cupcakes, or order a big sheet cake decorated with end zones representing the NFC and AFC champs. We can even decorate cookies to look like your favorite players, complete with their jersey numbers and team colors.

There’s definitely fun to be had this winter if you know where to look, so why not plan to make the most of it? When you share the good times with friends and family, you’ll shake the winter blues and feel the warmth of togetherness as you celebrate the season’s special moments.
